Use of Our Website

By using our website, you agree to use it only for legitimate travel planning, enquiry and booking purposes.

You agree:

Tour Bookings

Submitting an enquiry through our website does not automatically constitute a confirmed booking.

All bookings are subject to availability of hotels, vehicles, permits and other applicable travel services.

Customers should carefully review the itinerary, travel dates, hotel category, vehicle type, inclusions, exclusions and total package price before making payment.

Tour Pricing

Package prices are based on the services and travel arrangements specified in the quotation or itinerary.

• Quoted prices may be subject to availability.
• Prices may change before booking confirmation.
• Hotel rates may vary depending on season and availability.
• Transport rates may change because of fuel prices, route conditions or government regulations.
• Permit fees and entry charges may change without prior notice.

Once a booking has been confirmed, any changes requested by the traveller may result in additional charges.

Payments

Payments may be accepted through bank transfer, UPI or authorized payment platforms communicated by our booking team.

• Advance payment may be required to confirm a booking.
• The balance amount must be paid according to the payment schedule communicated during booking.
• Full payment may be required before commencement of the tour.
• Payment gateway or bank processing charges, where applicable, may be payable separately.

Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation charges depend on the travel services booked, the cancellation date and the policies of hotels, transport providers and other suppliers.

• Cancellation charges may apply once a booking is confirmed.
• Non-refundable hotel, transport, permit or other supplier charges cannot be refunded.
• No refund may be provided for a no-show.
• No refund is generally available for services voluntarily unused during the trip.
• Last-minute cancellation may attract substantial or full cancellation charges.

Where a refund is approved, processing time may depend on the relevant bank, payment gateway, hotel or travel supplier.

Changes to Itinerary

Ladakh is a high-altitude destination where itineraries can be affected by weather, road conditions, government restrictions and operational circumstances.

We may make reasonable itinerary adjustments where necessary for safety or operational reasons.

Where possible, an alternative sightseeing location, hotel, route or service of a similar nature may be offered.

Hotels & Accommodation

Hotels are provided according to the category and arrangements mentioned in the confirmed itinerary.

• Hotel rooms are subject to availability.
• Specific room views, floors or room numbers cannot be guaranteed unless specifically confirmed.
• Hotel check-in and check-out times are governed by the individual property's policy.
• An equivalent or similar hotel may be offered if the originally proposed property becomes unavailable.

Transportation

Transport services are provided according to the vehicle category specified in the confirmed package.

Vehicle models may vary based on availability, road conditions and local transport regulations.

• Vehicles are normally provided according to itinerary, not on unlimited disposal unless specifically stated.
• Additional sightseeing or route changes may result in extra charges.
• Travel time may vary significantly because of terrain, traffic, weather or road conditions.

Permits & Travel Documents

Certain Ladakh destinations may require Inner Line Permits, protected-area permits or identity documentation.

Travellers are responsible for providing accurate documentation within the required timeframe.

Failure to provide necessary documentation may prevent permit issuance or access to restricted locations.

Health, Fitness & High Altitude Travel

Ladakh is a high-altitude region and travel may involve areas located above 10,000 feet and mountain passes significantly higher than this.

Travellers are responsible for assessing their own health and fitness before travelling.

• Appropriate acclimatization should be followed.
• Travellers with medical conditions should seek medical advice before undertaking high-altitude travel.
• Customers must carry prescribed medicines and appropriate personal medication.
• Medical and evacuation expenses are the traveller's responsibility unless otherwise covered by insurance or specifically included in the package.

Weather, Road Closures & Government Restrictions

Mountain travel is affected by conditions that may change without advance notice.

These may include:

• Snowfall
• Landslides
• Flooding
• Road closures
• Pass closures
• Government restrictions
• Military restrictions
• Local administrative orders
• Flight disruptions

Ladakh Mountain Tour & Travels cannot guarantee access to any destination when authorities or conditions prevent travel.

Traveller Responsibilities

Travellers are responsible for:

• Carrying valid identification and necessary documents.
• Providing accurate traveller information.
• Following local laws and regulations.
• Following hotel and transport rules.
• Respecting local culture and environmentally sensitive areas.
• Reporting at agreed pickup and departure times.
• Taking reasonable care of personal belongings.

Any additional costs caused by a traveller's delay, missed transport, incorrect documentation or personal decision may be payable by the traveller.

Third-Party Service Providers

Some travel services are provided by independent third-party suppliers, including:

• Resorts
• Camps
• Transport operators
• Drivers
• Guides
• Activity providers
• Airlines
• Payment gateways

These suppliers operate under their own policies, operational requirements and legal obligations.

Force Majeure

We shall not be responsible for delays, changes, cancellations or failure to provide services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
