The moment you step into the land of Leh, you will start feeling being in heaven, because this is what it is. On your arrival, our representative will pick you from the airport and bring to the hotel for completing check-in formalities and for the rest. Since it is 3,500 m above the sea level, take a day free to familiarize with the environment here. In the evening, you can explore the local and nearby attractions like the local market, Leh Palace, and Shanti Stupa.
The day will be full of memories and give you many chances to get lost in the charm of the place and capture so many shots for keeping as memories for life. After breakfast, we’ll leave to Likir Monastery - an ancient place of worship, which has imposing idols of Buddhist deities. Moreover, the Gompas here has a remarkable collection of ancient manuscripts, costumes, earthen pots and paintings, which bring you closer to its culture. Later, we’ll explore the Alchi Monastery, situated on lowland, not on a hilltop, unlike other Gompas. Continue our drive to Pathar Sahib Gurudwara – covered with snow-capped mountains, lovely atmosphere, positive vibes and more. Move further to Hall of Fame – a place to feel pride and dedicated to Indian Soldiers and Sangam Valley to witness the beautiful confluence of the rivers Indus and Zanskar.
Begin your day with finger-licking breakfast that keeps you full for a long drive to Nubra Valley – also known as the valley of flowers. Enveloped by snow-capped Himalayan ranges, it is known among the travellers as a piece of “Broken Moonland” because, in winter, it looks like the landscape of the moon. We’ll reach this valley via Khardung La Pass, which is the highest motorable pass. After arriving at the destination, have lunch and enjoy the Camel Ride at Sand Dunes in between the Diskit & Hunder Village.
Post breakfast at the hotel, visit Diskit Monastery, which has a gigantic statue of Lord Buddha and is considered the oldest as well as the largest Buddhist Center in Ladakh. Here you can also get a bird’s eye view of Nubra Valley. After spending relaxing hours here, we’ll go back to Leh through the same route, crossing Khardung La Pass.
Pangong Lake is another wonder that you get to witness in the land of Himalayas. And a drive to it will be the refreshing and memorable one for you. We’ll begin the drive to Pangong Lake via Changla Pass, third highest motorable pass in the world. The scenic beauty of the lake on the Banks of Pangong and its properties of changing colours make it more fascinating one. Spend some peaceful time close to nature and drive back to Leh via the same route.
Wake up & get refresh, have breakfast and our representative will transfer you to Leh Airport, to board flight back to source-destination as scheduled.
